We did it! And it went wonderfully! Feel free to check out photos here. Thank you to everyone whose thoughts were with us, and thank you to all who attended.

Scott and Bonnie are finally getting married!

When: June 21, 2009

Where: San Francisco, California

Why: ‘Cause they like each other and stuff!

The Ceremony: 1:30 p.m. at the Queen Wilhelmina Garden in Golden Gate Park, underneath an old Dutch windmill!

The garden will be in full bloom, with foxgloves and impatiens galore. Officiating the ceremony will be cantor and family friend Ann Turnoff. Brothers Andy and Jeff will be holding the polls of the chuppah, while Bonnie and Scott share their unique vows in front of close friends and family.

Need a lift from the ceremony to the reception? A classic San Fran cable car will be whisking attendants between the two locations. It’ll be just like Full House! (except John Stamos never RSVP’d)

The Reception: 3:00 p.m. at The Chateau Tivoli, 1057 Steiner Street, near Alamo Square.

Held in a Victorian bed and breakfast, Scott and Bonnie’s extended cocktail reception will feature organic Japanese hors d’oeuvres, and a tower of delicious mini wedding cupcakes (do be sure to try the red velvet ones. They’re super tasty!). Close friends will be serving as cocktail waiters dressed in vintage fashion, and the bar will be stocked with wine, beers, and creative mixed drink options.

Attire: Bonnie and Scott’s wedding has a faux-Victorian theme, so they’re encouraging guests to have fun and pick outfits that are old-fashioned inspired. For those who don’t have access to cool old clothes at home, Haight Street has tons of vintage shops for your pre-wedding perusal. Please feel free to be as creative or as subtle as you like.
