Where is the wedding?
In San Francisco, silly. The bride and groom to-be live in the Haight. The ceremony is in Golden Gate Park. The reception is at a bed and breakfast near Alamo Square. For specific addresses, see the weekend schedule.

Which airport should I fly into?
We recommend San Francisco or Oakland, as those are easily accessible via public transportation from SF proper. San Jose is also an option, but getting there and back is a trek.

How do I get from the airport to my hotel?
It depends where you’re staying, but the easiest way to get from SFO or Oakland to downtown San Fran is to take the BART (our subway). The closest stop to the Warwick is Powell. The closest stop to the Omni is Montgomery. From there both hotels are within easy walking distance. Airports are well marked for BART riders. Also, Google Maps is your best friend.

I’m not going to have a car with me. How do I get from place to place once I’m in town?
Taxis are an option, but a pricey one (see estimates here), especially if you’re going far. Walking is another option, though, while much of our lovely city is ideal for strolling, hills can make getting from point A to point B surprisingly difficult. San Francisco also has multiple forms of public transit, including buses, light rail, and a limited subway. We recommend using Google Maps to determine the best way to get to your destination.

Specifically, how do I get to the ceremony?
Easy! Show up at the Omni Hotel as per the instructions on the weekend schedule and an old-fashioned trolley, hired by the bride and groom, will sweep you away to Golden Gate Park. Of course, if you have a car in the area — or have arranged with the Phillips/Rubergs/Siegels to help drive equipment to the event — please see Google Maps for in-city directions. Public parking is available nearby.

How do I get to the Omni Hotel from the Warwick Hotel?
Walk east on Geary, turn north (left) on Kearny, then east (right) on California. The hotel will be almost immediately on your left.

How do I get from the ceremony to the reception?
Even easier! Those not driving will re-board the trolley for a ride to Chateau Tivoli.

How do I get from the reception back to my hotel?
Since everyone will be headed their separate ways after the reception — it ends at 6:00, so the night will still be young! — there’s no official wedding transport home. However, Chateau Tivoli is centrally located, right near scenic Alamo Square. Many bus lines run nearby. Taxi Fare Finder estimates it costs $10.27 for a ride back to the Warwick and 14.35 for a ride to the Omni.
