While you’re here in San Francisco, there are a number of cool things we recommending seeing/doing with your free time. Since they’ll be a whole bunch of you ’round town, we’ll even have someone in charge of organizing group trips and helping you figure out how to get from place to place. Check out our ideas:
- Walk across the Golden Gate Bridge.
- See Golden Gate Park, visit the De Young or the new natural history museum, and take a break at the Japanese tea garden.
- Learn about science the fun way at the Exploratorium.
- Visit Chinatown, the largest outside of China.
- Roam Haight St., SF’s hippy central.
- Explore Fisherman’s Wharf and visit Alcatraz.
- Drive up to the Marin Headlands and see a redwood forest.
